The main purpose of the Nutrition Clinic is to provide a disease-specific and nutritionally well-balanced healthy diet plan to the patient to improve their nutritional status resulting in wellness. It modifies your food habits to help you live healthy for a longer period of time.

Our expert team of Nutritionists from the Department of Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics at SL Raheja, Mumbai work closely with patients and provide them with a holistic and essentially therapeutic diet based on their illness. This entire care process includes nutrition assessment, nutritional diagnosis, intervention and monitoring of the standardization.

Every in-patient receives a daily visit from the dietitian/dietician who alters the patient’s nutrition based upon their medical condition, biochemical parameters and individual needs.


A nutritionist /Health Nutrition serves the following:

  • The patient’s 24-hour diet recall is taken and diet modified as per the patient’s dietary habits and disease-specific requirements
  • Evaluate the effects of meal plans and alter the plan if needed
  • Keep up with the latest nutritional science and technology

Our department has an active OPD consultation schedule. Usually, Out-patients are referred by the hospital’s consulting doctors and walk-in patients seek nutritional advice by external doctors.
