Dr. Varsha Urlam is a trained Periodontist and Oral Implantologist. She currently practices General Dentistry and her speciality of Periodontics in SL Raheja Fortis Hospital in Mahim, Mumbai. She has completed her B.D.S from Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai and M.D.S in Periodontology from MGM Dental College and Hospital, Navi Mumbai. She is a member of Maharashtra State Dental Council and Indian Society of Periodontology. Her areas of expertise include Non-Surgical and Surgical Periodontal therapy to handle diseases that involve gums and periodontal bone loss. It involves procedures such as Scaling & Root planing, Curettage, Periodontal Splinting, Periodontal Flaps, Bone grafting, LANAP, Frenectomy, Crown lengthening and Mucogingival procedures. She also performs cosmetic procedures such as Depigmentation, Gingivectomy & Gingivoplasty, Aesthetic Crown Lengthening and Dental Implants. She is also trained in using LASER and Electrocautery.
